London SoundPainting Orchestra
Created by american composer Walter Thompson in the 1970’s, SoundPainting is an international compositional sign language. Using a palette of hundreds of gestures, the Soundpainter builds live compositions with the improvised responses of an ensemble of Perfomers/Improvisers. These pictures are documentation of a performance by London SounPainting Orchestra for the Olympic Torch event at Laban, Deptford.
